Availability

- Always open unless stated otherwise on my BSky.
- Up to 3 clients at a time, not first come first serve.
- 14 to 30 work days to complete each order, counting from you approving the rough sketch.
- Mon-Wed +Friday are work days.
- Thursday and Weekend - no work, low priority on email updates/convos.

Terminology

- You are the commissioner/client.
- I am Demitsorou, the artist.
- Artwork/product/work/piece is the artwork commissioned.
- The terms of use are defined as:

- By commissioning me for personal use, you pay me for the service provided rather than the final product.
- Your rights over the finished product are limited and will be explained through this document.

- For commercial use orders, a contract will need to be made.
- Contract must include things such as intended use, period said artwork will be used, agreement with my terms of service, deadline, values negotiated, etc.
- Commissions for commercial use have their price calculated individually, and include the rights for the artwork.

- Finished commission or any work-in-progress images you are sent are not allowed to be minted/sold as NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens), or used in LLM/GenAI training models.

- Commission rates as outlined in this carrd are for personal orders only; their price points are final and are not up for negotiation.

- I do not accept cryptocurrency as payment.

The Commission process

- Contact me via email ([email protected]).
- Title your email with "Commission" or similar so the reason for your inquiry is clear.
- In the email itself, state what would you like me to work on with you. Ideally, provide general idea, as well as reference.

- Be courteous, kind, and professional when communicating with me, and avoid using overly friendly or familiar tone.

- You will only commission me to draw things you own or have permission to use.
- You hold all responsibility regarding permission to draw who or what is being portrayed.
- If you happen to not have permission, I will expose your email as the commissioner if any legal issues arise.

- I will not draw anything illegal or extreme.

- Upon payment and agreement, you will receive WIPs that must be approved before I continue.
- You can request changes and edits as I work; I can request compensation if I deem so necessary.

- Expect artistic liberty.

- No physical goods will be shipped, all work is done digitally, and all the final images will be sent to the client by email.
- After the final product is sent the service you paid for is completed.

EDITS

- 2 free minor edits per WIP step.
- Any other edits in that step will cost 30$.
- Minor edits: adjustments of proportions, changing position of a limb, alterations of minor design elements, color tweaks, composition adjustments.
- Major edits will cost 60$, and involve sweeping underlying changes.

- Edits requested must be relevant to the stage the commission is in, i.e. I won't edit the work's base structure when it is in the final stage.

- Once the final result is approved and the finished product is sent to you, absolutely no edits will be made.
- I will not provide transparent versions of your work or remove my watermark.

payment

- Payments are done exclusively in USD and through EasyStart invoice.
- Commission will not be started until the payment is processed.

- Payment splits can be discussed, but at least 100$ is a minimum requirement for me to accept your commission into production.

NO REFUNDS

- Due to current sociopolitical climate, I cannot afford to issue refunds.
- Please make sure you are able to pay and work with me upon contact, and that you want the commission done.

my rights

I keep all the rights over the commissioned artwork. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Distributing my artwork on galleries, portfolios, printing on art books, using it for self-promotion, or price samples.
- I can reject an inquiry without giving an explanation.
- I will always strive to credit you as the commissioner where the commission is displayed.

Your rights

If you buy artwork from me for personal use:
- You cannot publish, make merchandise of, nor mass print the artwork or alterations of it for profit.
- You can print it, keeping it as a physical copy for yourself, but it must not be submitted to mass printing sites.
- The commissioned work can not be used in commercial or non-commercial large-scale projects/organisations.
- You can share the artwork anywhere you want, with the exceptions of places where one would need to pay to view it (i.e. a paid tier of your patreon).
- You can crop the artwork for an icon. You agree that all alterations of the artwork will still follow the terms stated here.
- You cannot edit, alter, or crop the artwork in a way that removes the watermark. (excluding Icon)
- You must always credit me as the artist of the picture wherever you display it. You can do so by leaving a link to one of my sites near/as the picture, or by stating my business name (Demitsorou) as the creator on a line next to it.
- You can not claim the artwork as made by you.Commissions of commercial use have their rights stated in the contract

Restrictions

I will refuse to draw:
- Anything NSFW for people under the age of 18
- Offensive or hateful material towards communities, cultures, genders, and sexualities.
- Illegal material, such as depictions or implications of sexual abuse or minors in erotic context, including animal abuse
- Extreme fetishes (scat, watersports, etc.)
- Scenes of torture, violent death 'snuff', extreme gore
- Depictions or implications of dehumanization, fetishization, or objectification towards a gender, race, or community.
- Depictions of drug use.
- Depictions of real or close-to-realistic assault firearms.
- Hate symbolism.
